What to Expect When You Visit Us
We work hard to make your visit as enjoyable as possible.
We seat you in an appointment room as quickly as we can, so your pet feels safe and comfortable.
We assign each pet a 3-person team of doctor, technician and animal care attendant, so they don’t get overwhelmed by too many new faces.
We involve you—our client—in as much of the care as possible. We aim to do all treatments in the exam room (although this isn’t always possible).
We get you in and out of the clinic as quickly as we can, to keep everyone’s stress to a minimum.
We keep healthy pet treats nearby at all times!
Here’s what to expect during a routine exam.
A vet technician will start your appointment by taking your pet’s history, including the kinds of food they eat and life habits, as well as vitals like temperature and pulse.
The doctor will conduct the exam and give vaccinations, if needed.
You’ll have a chance to ask your questions.
If tests or treatments are recommended, we’ll tell you the costs ahead of time, and give you plenty of space to make your decisions.
You’ll be able to view your pet’s tests results, including bloodwork, x-rays and ultrasounds.
We accept most forms of payment—cash, VISA, Mastercard and Debit—but no AMEX or cheques please!
