What to Expect When You Visit Us

We work hard to make your visit as enjoyable as possible.

  • We seat you in an appointment room as quickly as we can, so your pet feels safe and comfortable.

  • We assign each pet a 3-person team of doctor, technician and animal care attendant, so they don’t get overwhelmed by too many new faces.

  • We involve you—our client—in as much of the care as possible. We aim to do all treatments in the exam room (although this isn’t always possible).

  • We get you in and out of the clinic as quickly as we can, to keep everyone’s stress to a minimum.

  • We keep healthy pet treats nearby at all times!

Here’s what to expect during a routine exam.

  • A vet technician will start your appointment by taking your pet’s history, including the kinds of food they eat and life habits, as well as vitals like temperature and pulse.

  • The doctor will conduct the exam and give vaccinations, if needed.

  • You’ll have a chance to ask your questions.

  • If tests or treatments are recommended, we’ll tell you the costs ahead of time, and give you plenty of space to make your decisions.

  • You’ll be able to view your pet’s tests results, including bloodwork, x-rays and ultrasounds.

  • We accept most forms of payment—cash, VISA, Mastercard and Debit—but no AMEX or cheques please!
